Socio-economic development of coastal health resort communes in Poland

The health resort communes have a significant impact on the functioning of local government. On one hand, they enhance development tourism, but other inhibit branches economy. aim study is to compare and point out developmental trends in coastal communes, which may provide conclusions how their spa functions affect development. subject research socioeconomic situation six including four located coast West Pomerania Province two Province. To evaluate socio-economic situation, synthetic indicator method was applied involving pointer variables available Polish public statistics. measurements were taken three categories: human social capital, material capital as well financial economic capital.
